myPlan Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2026
These terms are the end-user license agreement between you and the operator of myPlan ("we", "us") for the myPlan website and iOS app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use myPlan for a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
The Service
myPlan connects to your accounting software (QuickBooks Online or Xero, read-only) or to spreadsheets you import, builds a cash forecast and reports, raises alerts, and answers questions through Ask myPlan. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own business purposes.
Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell us promptly at the address below if you suspect unauthorised access.
Your data
You keep all rights to the data you connect or upload. You give us permission to process it only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. myPlan has read-only access to your accounting system: it cannot create, change or pay anything there. You can export or delete your data in Settings at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully, or to process data you have no right to use;
- probe, disrupt or overload the Service, or try to access another customer's data;
- reverse engineer the Service or resell access to it without our written consent;
- use automated means to extract data or to build a competing product.
Forecasts and AI answers are not advice
Forecasts, reports, alerts and Ask myPlan answers are estimates generated from your data and from statistical and AI models. They can be wrong or incomplete, particularly when your books are. They are information, not financial, accounting, tax or legal advice. Check important figures against your books, and take advice from a qualified professional before you rely on them for a decision.
Third-party services
The Service works with QuickBooks Online (Intuit), Xero, Apple and others. Your use of them is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or changes.
Subscriptions and payment
Some features may require a paid plan. Subscriptions bought in the iOS app are billed and managed by Apple and renew automatically until you cancel in your Apple account settings, at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Refunds on App Store purchases are handled by Apple. We may change prices for future billing periods with notice.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we make a change that materially harms you, we will give notice in the app or by email.
Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your business and account in Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or put the Service or other customers at risk. Sections that by their nature should survive (data ownership, disclaimers, liability, governing law) do.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, savings or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
